Child Welfare Visitation Services
Central Visitation Program aims to be a partner of parents involved with the child welfare system as parents work toward reunification with their children. Please see our expectations, roles of individuals involved in visitation, and tips for having successful visits in our Parent Guidelines packet.
The purpose of Visitation Services in the child welfare system is meant to give parents and children the opportunity to grow their bond and attachment while the children are in out-of-home care as parents work on their treatment plans in the effort to reunify with their children.
Your Visitation Coach should support and guide you as a parent in order to ensure that visitation is a safe experience for you and your children. Your Visitation Coach may make suggestions to you as an effort to try and help you should a challenging situation or behavior arise.
